POSETTE 2025 Talk
Fortifying Azure Database for PostgreSQL: Stop Intrusions in Their Tracks
PostgreSQL is a popular choice for enterprises to store critical application and process data. Protecting access to this data is crucial to prevent unauthorized access.
In this session, we will explore technical features of Azure Database for PostgreSQL that enhance security. We will demonstrate how to set up private endpoints to limit the attack surface. Additionally, we will provide hands-on guidance on using passwordless database connections, with examples from Java Spring Boot applications running in Kubernetes clusters.
Finally, we will discuss how to maintain operational efficiency in these highly secure setups and share valuable lessons learned.
